Re: My next and future mod list
Yes, eibach sportlines with tokico d-specs. 1200 for the ford kit isn't bad, I just wasn't happy with ford springs, they where nice but rear was still high in my opinion. The pro street kit probably perfect choice for most. The rims are 18x11 in rear, the only way to get 18x11 is going custom rim setup from ccw or tru forge rims, lets just say its gonna be 700 per rim minimum.

What I was considering doing is buying the stock GT500 wheels in high gloss black and extended those from 9.5 to 11 or 12 inches. Do you know anybody here who's done that with the stock wheels? What's the widest tire you can fit on 9.5"? I've heard people fitting 305's comfortably for the most part. Are you running MT's on all 4 or just rear and what size?

Re: My next and future mod list
You can get 11 inch rim under with no problems, 11.5 your gonna have to modify stuff. I am running 305 tire on the rear, mt drag radials with stock front tires. With my wheels I can fit 315 and 325 with no problems, 345 tire is gonna rub.

Now you're getting into Viper tire width territory. lol I'm gonna leave my front ones stock too....just want more grip in the rear. Geez!! Did you buy your MT's from Lethal or Evo?

You can get a lot of parts from Blue Oval as well with Free Shipping in case you didn't already know that.
I've been playing around with the wheel editor on the True Forged site. So far the Chicane style wheel in black is my favorite. I have a 1/24 scale model Red GT500 with the same wheels and they look really good. Wonder how much they'll charge me for some custom 18"s. Will have to get an estimate from them. Cruizn Concepts has some good deals on wheel & tire combos...well they had decent one for the durabright Alcoa's.

When I talked to true forged, it was gonna be around 300-400 more than my ccw's. You can get more expensive than that with their options, rivets, 2 or 3 piece rim, color/paints and 18 or 20's. BTW, ccw will do black color rims also, worth checking out at least.

Checked that out as well. I like the SP20 wheel. Pretty much same design as the Chicane. Would prob. do 18x11.5 rear and 18x10 in front. Rivets are okay but I can do without those. Black with red painted outline might look cool. CCW has your color car in the model picture. I like how it has the chin spoiler painted to match the car....haven't seen one like that yet.

I wish I didnt like my '10 wheels so much! Might change down the road, but to me they fit the car really well. Might just lower it.

Found a set of MT Street radials: 305/45-18 FREE Shipping too :) He has acceptable rim width listed as 9.5-11, meaning I wouldn't have to modify the stock wheel.

Re: My next and future mod list
But I guess just because it says the 9.5 can be used doesn't make it acceptable. Probably better off to widen the wheel an inch.

Re: My next and future mod list
I'd say if you don't want it to feel sloppy in the back while cornering a wider wheel is a good plan. If all you care about is straight line performance then it's probably not critical.

There are a ton of people using the 305 tire on stock rims with no problems. I wouldn't hesitate to do it at all.

It's the drag radial that's hard to find in 19". Unfortunately that's what I'll have to run after my power upgrades if I want to be able to hook on the street. Otherwise I'm afraid it would be quite a scary ride.

I just want to go fast!!! lol
So I guess my near future mods will be 3.73 gears, MT street radials, High gloss black stock wheels with machined lip, radiator cover from bangastang, coolant tanks and maybe the FRPP handling pack....would love to have a Griggs suspension like the GR40 lol, but that's prob. too extreme and more than I would want to spend.

Re: My next and future mod list
Plan is to do the 2.59 upper 10% od lower on a ported stock blower with the appropriate supporting mods. A couple years down the road I'll most likely upgrade to an aftermarket SC like the TVS or KB. But I figure it should be able to get pretty close to 600HP at the tire with the ported blower route, and that to me will be enough to satisfy my power needs for a while I hope. Lol

Re: My next and future mod list
Only thing I would add to that is a better heat exchanger, Thermostat, etc..... with the blower working overtime, heatsoak could become an issue.
