I bought floor mats from that place. Actually got the mats from the red stripe appearance package with red embroidered cobras...they look awesome since my car is torch red. Money well spent at that place. Are you guys using the Ford Racing oil filters as well? I take it you haven't done one oil change yet? Did you say your grabber blue is a daily driver as well?

Royal Purple is great. I want to try Castrol's synthetic or Mobil, but since my car is still under it's 3 year warranty I can't really do anything right now. My original battery went out on me from not driving my car enough...go figure. lol they told me to drive it more. I actually put fewer miles on it last year than in '08-09 which was my first year.

If the ground is clear....shes a daily. Car had 1300 miles when I bought.....They changed the oil the day I bought it. So this would be the second.

You need to get a battery tender and you no longer have to worry about dead batteries from letting it sit. I would stay away from Mobil....used to be a great brand. They lowered their base stock purity to save money....and it shears like crazy within about a 1000 miles. Mobile is not what it used to be.

Im still under warranty of course, so I too am stuck using Motorcraft even though it too has been proven to not be the "best".

Royal Purple has shown to have higher Zddp, shear less, and protect the motor better than fords brand. Would love to use it, but not sure if Ford would like that if the engine went sour. Im sure I would win a court battle over it due to tests, but who wants to take that chance?

Thanks for the info. I'll look into getting a battery tender. I really wanted to try Castrol synthetic oil. I've heard great things about it along with Royal Purple. One of my colleague's uses Mobil in his Viper SRT-10.

I too thought Mobil was a great oil....until I saw the tested results. Not using it any more.

Royal Purple would be my choice over Castrol.

And if anyone has the problem of their shelby being not being driven often enough, you can feel free to drop it by my place and I would be happy to put some miles on it anytime lol!
