Future Interior Mods?
Anybody have any interior mods they have planned? I had my AVIC D3 installed a couple of months ago, but other than that my interior has been quite.
Anyone else?

Re: Future Interior Mods?
The only thing I may consider in the future are Roush embossed door sill plates but the only time you would even see them is when you open the door.
As if my car doesn't have Roush written on it enough already....

Re: Future Interior Mods?
I think I will order some billett stuff I.E. ac control knobs cup holder shifter bezel and power point. That will be all the interior gets. Perhaps upgrade to leather in the distant future.

Yea you need some leather David..we arent running a charity car club with that cloth.

Re: Future Interior Mods?
It is lighter. I also like the way it grips me when im doing 2 g's. I know it makes my car less "nice" than yours and the others with the leather but oh well.

I don't know if we can even allow you to remain in the club with cloth seats.

Jarrod, In all your reading on the AVIC D3 and Z2, did you happen to read if the steering remotes will work? Tracey's edge has the steering wheel radio control buttons...

Re: Future Interior Mods?
PAC Audio makes steering wheel control adapters for connecting just about any aftermarket head unit to the steering wheel controls of just about any make and model car - check them out here: http://www.pac-audio.com/.
I used one of their adapters to connect my AVIC-D3 to my Honda Ridgeline's controls; works great! (I actually added the factory steering wheel controls to my Ridgeline; it didn't come with it.) I used the SWI-PS interface ("PS" stands for "Pioneer/Sony"); the AVIC-D3 has a plug in the back for a wired remote so you don't have to mess with the infrared models.

Is that before or after the $200 rebate? Got my D3X (D3, Ipod adapter, and Bluetooth) for $597 after the rebate.

I got mine from abt electronics - http://www.abt.com/product/31555.html. They're now advertising this AVIC-D3Y for $674.00 after rebate, and the rebate's good through April 30th. I'm not sure what the difference is between the AVIC-D3X and D3Y packages, though. The rebate's definitely honored if you purchase from this authorized online vendor - just got my rebate check last week.

The Ipod adaptor is cheap. I'm going to add the camera later.
