Re: supercharger
Anybody want to have a tech day Saturday? I haven't had time to put the pulleys on from Doc. I am headed to Tulsa saturday to test drive a car for my little brother so I thought if you guys weren't busy maybe we could do it before everyone goes to the car show. Let me know. Thanks!

Re: supercharger
Looks awesome, they really did the tubing for their kits some justice. And the bracketry is top-shelf as well.

Re: supercharger
By the way, where are you rubbing on your hood? The tubing doesn't look like it sticks up much-if-any above the intake. Is it forward of your throttle-body, where it looks like you've got a resevoir mounted? The cap on that resevoir looks like it might stick up a little bit above the tubing, but not big-time.

Re: supercharger
the hood hits the air filter, which sits up some but the problem is the hood vent sits right on top of it and the outside vents probably extend down into the engine compartment about 2 inches.
the car is at kurtis' the fuel pump went crazy and is putting to much fuel into the cylinders and it wont start

Re: supercharger
You'll get it sorted out. need to figure out how to get the filter to work. It would be sweet to get it to sit right under the vent (cool air!).
Did you notice if Jeffys car was done yet???

Re: supercharger
The knee never did swell or get sore.My calf and shin are killing me.The knee brace they gave me will work good when the calf swelling goes down.It hurts to get it tight. We will see on mom. when the mri is read.Hoping its not a acl.It doesn't hurt unless i try to walk.Maybe a lateral collateral ligament or lateral meniscus.Tell the wife happy birthday. ouch,shi--t,crap 2 zig zags, mother fuc--

Re: supercharger
Hey Doc the issue with the hood not fitting, have you looked at motor mounts? Here is a link from brenspeed about motor mounts and hood clearance.

Re: supercharger
Doc already has the Prothan motor mounts, But I dont know if hes wanting to machine them down to lower the engine.
Doc another solution you could go with is another K-Member. There is one that I think BMR makes that lowers the engine assembly a couple of inches. This might just be enough and an cheaper route than selling your hood
