David do we need anything else mechanically? How are the spark plugs? Distributor cap? etc etc

I will plan on having the rear upper and lower control arms, springs, spark plugs, O2 sensors, trans mount, smog delete, and header gaskets. ready to go onto the car with me on Sat.

What about the valve covers? Getting those powdercoated?

Dunno? Those are Pauls baby. If their ready we'll put those in place as well. Perhaps Jerry would lend his detail expertise to the engine bay while we have it apart?

I can probably make it on sat. Should ahve the saleen wing before then too.

This one is not as cool...but pretty cool! And cheaper at $339

The valve covers are almost done. They'll be ready to shoot when the car goes to paint. Basically they will be polished but the insides of the fins will be the same color as the car. Should look nice.

As far as the int paint. Duplicolor makes two blacks, glossy and flat. The glossy, which is what the guy in the link probably used is TOO clossy IMO. Use the flat. It's still has a gloss to it, but doable.

I have painted interior pannels and stuff before. Bumper and Trim paint works really well on them too and gives a nice matte finish. I have some grey panels up in the attic from a 87-93 if you want to paint them also. Do two sets with two different paints and see what looks best. I think the ones in the attic may have already been painted black but not sure. Either way if you want me to bring that stuff I will.
