Re: INTERIOR
The one thing I will need to get is a set of black seat belts. If anyone knows where a set may be let me know. If possible to find them used would be great as the new ones are a bit pricey.

Re: INTERIOR
Might be a cheaper overall conversion going to racing seats and belts. Overkill for the car, but might be cheaper. When my 94 got stolen the seat belts had to get replaced and if I recall correctly, they were not cheap.

Re: INTERIOR
Yeah its like 350 for the front belts new from LRS. Paul suggested using the belts from his cobra but I want to be sure that the kiddo wears them. If its more than just pull and buckle he might start getting lazy. I dunno? I can call some salvage yards and see what I can get pricewise there.

This might be a job for Pull a part. They do not normally have many mustangs but they usually have lot of T-Birds and stuff like that. We can take some tools out and make a day of it and go to the two pull a parts I know of and see what we can find that will work in the car. Seat belts might be easy enough to put in his car out of another make or model and it will be a lot cheaper. I have a good sized tool box with wheels and a handle that we can drag to the salvage and see what we can find. We can make a saturday of it this coming week. Its suppose to be 50 degrees right now. I am up for it if anyone else is. I think the pull a part in sand springs is back open and the one at apex is always open. We might be able to find some good stuff for a bargain. Might even be able to find some carpet if they have a fox t-bird in black but that might be a stretch..

Re: INTERIOR
If we could get the seat belts that would be great. I'm getting the new carpet and other interior items but like you said you never know what you'll find.

Re: INTERIOR
Somthing else I thought of today was I need to get the canter arm rest components. The car has the arm rest delete on it now and I hate it. I don't know why anyone would order the car without the arm rest.

Re: INTERIOR
I thought about that but there are just too many parts and I didn't want to risk the belts leeching out any color onto clothes and so forth if you sweat. I wasnt sure how well the color would stay fast. So I decided to take the safe route.
