Thumping noise underneath the rear of my car
So yeah i figured out what was doing that.
There is some rubber stoppers on top of the the rear axles, and those are hitting up against the chassis.
Cory seems to think its because my car is lowered.
Anyone have any ideas?

The bump stops can be trimmed to allow for more travel or you can buy new smaller ones.

Cut off about half of the bump stop on each side. Should take care of the issue.

So just remove it?
Isn't it there to protect the axel from hitting the chassis?

Cause everytime my clutch engages that rubber stopper hits the chassis.
I'm pretty positive thats whats making the noise and its not my clutch, theres actually proof on the chassis of where its hitting.

Unless that rubber stopper is a fail safe just in case my struts go out.
Cause everytime i go over a speed bump i here squeeky squeeky in the rear end.
Or maybe im just over analyzing it.

Yeah cut em down. You should be able to get to them with a hacksaw or a beaver to chew them in half for ya
