Alright you freakin' weenies!

I have contacted Hallett for MY car racing classes and will attend the very first one available. Scott is sending me the required CD, paperwork, and a list of dates for classes. We tried to get this together, but it seems there are a few of us that are pantywaist weenies, so I'll do it myself and share the info and dates when I get them. Maybe a couple of members will decide to be real men (or super chicks) and join me. Time will tell!

Until then......

I would love to but have too many prior obligations this year to be able to afford the track. Keep us up to date on the dates and times, will definitely come out and watch and get pics for you though.

Too many obligations? Seems I'm the one that always has something to do when club functions happen. I'm also on call 24/7, but I'm gonna do this if it kills me! Uh well, maybe that's not the correct metaphor to use in this instance.....

For me... it all depends on the date.

Also, I might have a trip to vegas this year. Haven't recieved a invite yet.... So I'm just not sure of the date or even if it will happen. It's changed so many times you have to wonder.... The Guy involved is pretty flakey. If I don't get an invite soon... I'll assume it's not happening and schedule a dive trip.

I was planning on doing it this year. Maybe not the first class, but that could change. It will be nice to take a class with another mustang. When is your class starting? Did you do the 1 day thing or a half day? I was quote about $300 last year if I drove my own car.

The dates are not set yet, but will be soon. I was going to do the full day, and $300 sounds about right if I recall correctly. I'll post when we have a firm date.

Cool, let me know. My only issue is right now I have a few things on the car I need to get buttoned up. I have only had the car for a couple months. I have a strange feeling its going to overheat easily in the summer and will need an upgraded fan. The brakes also need to be fixed, they work fine on the street but dont seem to bite like baers should.

Ok butt head ask Scott how many times he and I have talked about trying to get something setup for the club. You and your whimpy car probably couldn't find your way around Hallett much less keep up with me. So we can settle this in two more months HST is the 21st-22nd of March everyone needs to come see who is faster the GT500 or the little V-6 we need someone to run two stopwatch's.

lol! lol! lol!

This is said with humor implied I wanted to say that because someone got their butt hurt on another forum when I was kidding. I guess the hard feelings came about when someone else posted my lap time from Mid America after he posted his and I was faster oops.

I'll take that challenge! I want to take a class before the March COMMA HST. The most powerful car in the world won't get fast lap times if you don't know how to drive it.

And I also hope to badger members into doing Hallett. I plan on setting an example!

Blair,

The Hallett schedule lists Thursday & Friday (19 & 20) as the school days, which is what they usually do; 2 days of driving school just before an HST weekend so you can put 2 more days of seat time in to reinforce what you've learned.

I'll be there on Saturday (21) for the HST. I also think Ed from PSE is coming with me (Bob P. knows him....) I'm also thinking about bringing my daughter's new ride but might wait till Mid America for that.......
