I wanna do it all. They have classes at Hallett, but I did not see if they were SCAA sanctioned or not, if that makes any difference....

To me it doesnt matter.. I dont plan on competing in SCCA events so i dont need a certification or anything but i would like some instruction on things like rules, course etiquette and some knowlede on driving my car better.

I would actually like to contact Hallett about the schools and COMMA runs, but since I am only a "V6" member (whatever that means) and not a BMMC official "stud" or whatever, I don't know how appropriate that would be. Anyone gonna run with this or let me? Let me know.

Hey no complaints from us if you want to try and set something up. Getting prices and speaking with officials on what we can do and cant is something any member can do. When it comes to making the event official...Paully will be the guy to do it...but gathering info and requesting the clubs backing and approval is more than welcomed!!! Go for it blair...go for it George

I drove out to Hallett yesterday just to have a destination on a gorgeous afternoon. The gate was open and I drove inot the middle of the track. Man, my nipples got hard just being in the middle of that track!

It was a successful little road trip. Flexed the HP appropriately and did not get arrested in the process. Now I just need to get those bugs off the front of the car.....

Road Racing it's a blast! Personnally I like it much more than the 1/4 mile. It is a more expensive and in our case further away. But it's just fun to get out there and kick through some corners.

I'll give them a call the Stephens to see what they can offer us as a group.

You da man!

On a different note, I drove home through Mannford, and back to Tulsa on the south side ofthe river and saw two Bald Eagles perched in a tree off the side of the road. All in all, a good day....

The gate was just open as were several of the garages. Somebody was around somewhere and had I got on the track and started raising hell, I'm sure I would have found them!

I would lap the course as fast I could, then when they pulled me over I would act pissed and say I was looking for the exit to the mall on this stupid highway and can't find it.
