What type of insurance? I still can't afford medical. Auto is a must if i wana drive. Life, oh well... no one gets paid. Sucks to be single.

We'll one thing i always thought was retarded is that insurance companies would deny you insurance based on your health status.

but i dont like the idea of forcing everyone to have insurance or pay a fine or jail, thats not right.
Thats basically taking the "right" to have a choice in health care.

This is in no way pointed at anyone here or their comments.... Has anyone actually read this health care bill? Do you all understand what is actually happening? You do know that most of the things wont even be able to take effect(affect?) until 2014....

I only ask because I dont know, I thought it was to give health care to people who dont have it? I thought it was for people like me who are self employed to get a cheaper health insurance rate. But when it comes to politics, I dont know crap!

well that is not the case and no i have not read it as im sure the idiot in the white house has not . i have heard it is over 13000 pages now . any way you should check insure oklahoma they are using the money they stole from tobacco companies to subsidise health care for small bussiness in ok

I mean I have been shelling out almost 200 a month for health care because im self employed... I have also been denied coverage for allergies the whole time, which is the main reason for me wanting health care. Thanks to this Reform thingy I now can not be denied coverage for a pre existing condition...

So I guess it actually helps me out


Also, how is this going to affect you all on here??? you say you arent rich, but you drive nice cars and probably already have health care...... so what is really going to change for you? A few more taxes??

Once again, get rid of all the illegals that's milking the system and their anchor babies. Put the lazy Americans that's that's been milking the system back to work again.

Less wasted health care money and new jobs will be crated. Companies just have to pay a bit more for the labor now. Just wish the man stop worrying about their pockets and think about others. They make too much money anyway.

Paying for heath care is as exciting as paying $2500.00 for a new brake kit. Yeah I know I need to do it but it sure isn’t exciting.

Since you asked, this is how I see it. I would rather myself be incharge of the choices I make. I choose to work, and I choose to work for an employer that provides health coverage. The way I see it is they are raising my taxes to provide coverage for someone who pays little to no taxes and more than likely does not work. I am all for health care, everyone should be able to buy reasonable insurance at an affordable price. They should not be mandated to by their government and forced to pay penalties if they choose not to.

One of my coworkers took his daughter to the emergency room Friday night. He took her in there at 7p.m on firday, he got home 5 a.m. on saturday morning. 10 hours to get treated hor her symptoms. Now imagine you add 32 milllion more potential patients to them mix. We don't have the infrastructure to support 32 million americans in the emergency rooms and doctors offices we have. The way to fix health care is to make people healthier, not to keep shoving pills down there throat. There should be a benefit to me if I choose to live a healthy lifestyle and not use a bunch of resources. I shouldn't have to pay more for being healthy, but then again that is the democratic way. A classless society where everyone is equal no matter what kind of condition you are in.

Your right, it really doesn't affect me all that much in the grand scheme of things, pay a little more in taxes and be done with it. But I ask, where does it end. I believe that this health care bill is more about our loss of our freedoms than it is about the benefit it will have. We are a country by the people, for the people, one nation, under god. This bill was not written by the people for the people.

Why do you think insurance is soo high?? because of uninsured people who go to hospitals and then cant pay for it.
All we are really doing is shifting money we already spend and spending it somewhere else.

Hell who knows, it might work it might not? If it gets my rates lower some day, and gets me where I can get allergy coverage then in my mind it works.

There's 10 states right now filing for a lawsuit against the federal govt if the bill gets signed by obama.
There's some that are passing bills to block the bill, some states are making it where you cant be fined.

The states dont hardly ever comply with the federal law anyways. some states allow marijuana as medical treatment even though the use of it is against the federal law.
