Here's an interesting way to spend your spare time: artist Johnathan Brand has spent years constructing a '69 Mustang, piece by piece, entirely out of paper. The meticulously-reproduced paper parts will never be assembled into a completed paper vehicle, but were displayed as an exhibit at the Hosfelt Gallery in New York called "One Piece At A Time." I have no problem with automotive artists as long as they keep their hands off actual cars, and this guy seems to have actually been an enthusiast at some point: he worked on a '69 Mustang project for a few years before starting the paper one. But the time invested in this painstaking labor kind of begs the question: why not just build a real car? More pics and video below the jump, and see the Hosfelt's page on the exhibit Via CJ Pony Parts.
