My kit came with new brake lines.Did you not have to replace any lines. My soleniod also mounts on the fender. The slp must be completely different.

The slp is a complete kit, it just replaces the line from master cylinder to hcu for the front brakes. So basically line off the master cylinders goes to line lock solenoid, then one line goes off solenoid to the hcu. The one solenoid keeps pressures locked for both front brakes by going through the hcu.

The ones Paul, David M and Jarrod have use two solenoids mounted at both front wheels. Either one works, I like the simple clean look of the slp kit using one solenoid, buts that just my .02.

We had to replace some lines but all lines (braided) that were needed came with our kits. Some it was an upgrade...

Yes, but don't see why it matters. Its not gonna pour out of the master cylinder when you take the line off but it will leak. If it was just me, just take the lines off, probably starting at the hcu then master cylinder. Install new lines and solenoid, top master cylinder off and bleed brakes.
