Updated! September 19, 2009. Mods v Rods TRP

Since there has not been a lot of objection, we are changing this event from the show in Skiatook to the Mods v. Rods event.

I would be there.... but I have a date with my two ladies and OU/TU game that day!

Is there even anyone going that i can keep up with? haha

in other words theres a good chance you will race a fox body that the motor is worth a lot more than the car

not you your car is very nice worth a lot more than the motor

Wasn't it like $20 to race last year? Not for sure, but that seems right.

I think that's right. If I recall it was the same as a regular T&T night.

i might go. depends on the time. I have to do defensive driving class in the morning. Birthday party with a friend in the evening. might show up for support if the time is right.

Pretty sure qualifying passes will start ~10:30 am. Gates open ~9:00 am.

One guy I'd really like to see make it out is Chris with his KB Cobra! I know you want to see what it will do !

First off THIS IS NOT A DEADHORSE EVENT . I PUT THIS ON FOR FUN and last year one of the girls at OKDHM really stepped up and jumped on board to help out greatly .

OK guys being we got no support on this race I was going to call it .
But For the few who have stepped up and want to race WE ARE GOING TO
RACE ! This year I got no help in putting this together from anyone and
paying out of my pocket to cover an event is NOT a fun thing to do .But
screw it WE WILL RACE and have fun ! Tks to everyone who stepped up and
will be out !

Gates open @ 9 am , quail @ 10.30
$25 to race ( You can test n tune all day after you lose in the race but you must buy a race tech card to test)
$15 Spectators
$5 5-12

Will run a quick type program heads up style ( may be quick 8 or quick
16) .Those who do NOT want to run in the heads up format we will offer
a dial in et race . All payout(cash) will be based on entry . For those
who came out last year you know I out of MY pocket stepped up and
pulled the way faster 2 cars out and paid them to have a match race so
as to let the field be more even . This year we have 2 options in
pairing . I can pair like last year and run #1 Rod vs #1 Mod ,#2 vs #2
etc or we can do a blind draw to mix it up a lil bit . Let me know what
you guys wand what ever make the racers happy im good with .


Also you are correct we are also running a diesel shootout so should make for a real fun day

I for one know what it takes to put something like this on. I appreciate your efforts!

Next year, if you wants some help, please let us know BMMC would be glad to help. We also might be able to get some sponsor help.

im probably going to have to flip a coin on whether i race or just spectate...

I hope to be racing. I have my nieces birthday party that morning. Any volunteers to get the car teched in for me?? I should be able to be out there by 11:30. Hopefully thats not too late to get a run in for qualifying.
