Re: why not race?
Really? It isn't that complicated of a design. Only real difference is that the user can position the handle at any angle they wish. I love mine!

Re: why not race?
The s197's do have another set of allen bolts to "worry" about. However, I have never had any problems with mine moving. And yes, I do shift the snot out of her on occasion! The build quality is top notch on every MGW product I have ever seen. I also have their "Gripper" shift knob.

The same thing CAN NOT be done with the X-Cal 2 or 3...The WOTbox cuts timing and if I'm not mistaken, the X-cal cuts fuel....Lean condition (not good).
The WOTbox No Lift To Shift (NLTS) feature is completely unique and is the first/only product I've heard that does this. It cuts timing/power for a fraction of a second and allows you to shift quickly as the motor spins down and your transmission slows down, therefore allowing you to shift to the next gear easier...all the while not losing boost like you would on a normal shift where you lift off the gas. Now in conventional/normal power shifting, you push in the clutch with your foot on the gas the whole time having the RPM's ramp up and having the transmission spinning faster than it was before.
They will be making more boxes so when you get the coin, pony up. As far as a shifter, the pic that was posted looks almost like ours. Ours are not like the S197's so don't feel like the adjustability would cause potential problems down the road. It's really a simple set up.

Re: why not race?
cool, thaks for the feedback, I appreciate it.
I was told it could be done in the xcals and it had to be done in the tune, just didnt know how. Sounds like yours is the better way to go. I am going to get a few more tunes, get the box, and get the rear end done, hope to do it all this summer. If there is any money left, I will get some sticky tires. It just takes money,
