You know I was going to say that I dont care either way but I am a little sensitive to someone thinking I am trying to be a roush. I love the Roush Edition and I can afford one but I like the one I have. The problem is that the previous owner put a badge on that could be mistaken for a Roush. I was asked on more than one occasion what year my Roush was so I finally saw the fender badge and put it together.

I did go ahead and buy the Powered by ford emblems from the 07-08 Shelbys but I have to have something to cover the holes. If I could design it myself I would have a traditional pony on the grill and that it is. Who needs all that other crap.

in your actual term of misbadging i agree. i hate it when something is wearing improper badges. ie: a gt wearing cobra emblems, a V6 wearing GT emblems, ect. as far as changing the looks to your liking go for it. i think a mach looks absolutely sick with an 03-04 front facia.

I like the 99/01 Cobra front bumper cover as my fav on a Mach, just the same I love the smooth look of the 03/04 side skirts opposed to the GT/Mach ones, but will never do either, among some of the appearance changes I'd prefer.

So, some agree with me that in actual mis-badging, aka, putting a Cobra emblem on a GT is wrong, where do you draw the line?

I mean, if putting a Cobra badge on a GT is a no no, why not putting Cobra wheels on a GT being a no no too?

As I've said before, you pay or paid for for Mustang, do as you please, that what our soldiers fight for (our freedom of choice, and thank you to them), but I don't agree with any form of mis-badging, actual mis-badging or putting another model's parts on your model that isn't. There's so many aftermarket parts out there to make your Mustang unique without doing that IMO.

Call a fanatical nut on this topic if you will, but that's my viewpoint

cheers
