(you are supposed to be having some fun with this)

Oh so you actually think you can out run ME on any road course you are dreaming. Do you even own a front sway bar? You and your pumpkin couldn't catch a cold in friggin blizzard. So lets stop this talking and settle this once and for all which one of us has the best Roush clone my birthday at Hallett April 25-26th HST. We can call it attack of the clones or the clone wars which ever you prefer. I think this should be an all club event to attend what do you guy's say unless somebody is scared.

In general... I don't mind the parts. BUT actually badging something to make it something it's not is cheesy IMO. For example, why put GT500 over something it's not. I also see a lot of cobra emblems that are on GTs or V6's. That's just wrong.

So... parts I don't mind. Anything that has to do with emblems, lettering, etc. Not so much.

No I do have a pet peeve when it comes to engines in hot rods etc. A Ford Coupe should have a Ford Engine in it. Not a Chevy 350 and vice versa. Drives me crazy.

I edited my previous post...I thought you were calling me out and then re-read it and saw you were talking about someone elses post.

Then I refreshed and saw you posted this.

George come on man...are you for real? You should have quoted my my post so I could have pointed out.... I DONT CARE FOR ROAD COURSE RACING. Especially at a SMALL wimpy little track like Hallett thats more suited for tiny miatas than muscle cars.

Why? becuase their small, lightweight and can take corners at extreme speeds. If a V6 works so well why dont all SCCA and or other road race cars all put V6s in their cars?

My post said... EQUAL SUSPENSION, EQUAL WHEELS/TIRES, and THE SAME DRIVE IN EACH CAR..... the higher HP/TQ car will win 9 times out of 10. the 10the time the GT spun himself out applause

Its physics. If you get onto a "Real" Roadcourse (like the ones on TV) your V6 will fade away in the straights and doesnt have enough to keep up with a hopped up V8

No need to call me out...I was stating an opinion...wasnt saying I can take my car (knowing nothing about road racing) and beat you at hallet. Why? because theire are too many corners and not enough straights for the V8 to stretch its legs...let alone know how to put the power to the ground in the corners...and my lack of experience will play into it as well.

Equal cars, Equal drivers...one V6 one V8.... V8 wins bigbeer

Hey George...lets go out to the drag strip!..thats my playground applause

But when it comes to originals like your Mach1, or a Bullitt or going back further I have had a couple of 1979 Indy Pace cars.. Things like that should be left original and not altered too much because they are a historic piece of iron that should be taken care of. But again if you guy a standard GT or V6 its a blank canvas in my opinion. I may put Bullitt stuff on my GT but it will never be a bullitt. I know that and others know that. But I like the way the bullitt looks and since the bullitt I was buying fell through I figured I would just make one..

Exactlly the way I fell about it to! cheers

However, I hate it when they miss match mustangs. Like Saleen ground effects with cobra wheels and Roush decals Lockitup

Did no one read what I wrote?

In no way shape or form did I say I wanted to line up with anyone on a road course...nor think that my car can beat anyones elses

Re-read... I said equal cars mustang vs mustang....one V6 one V8 both stock motors. Then setup both cars to run on a specific "BIG BOY" road course. Have the same driver drive both and tell me which wins.

If you think for one second the lower HP/TQ mustang will outrun the V8 with the same driver and both setup to handle.....then your crazy hehe Poke

And if your referring to the drag strip Tony....what engine holds the best 1/4 record in the world? I dont believe there are race teams clamming to get the latest 4 banger from japan to run in their nitro methane dragster idunno

Never said a 4 banger couldnt beat a V8...I will say bolt on for bolt on...a higher cubic inch more cylinder motor will always have the advantage. Again..its physics...you cant cheat physics

Tony, I gotta revert to Ronnie's sig on this one. :"Owning a 9 second import is like coming out of the closet. At first you surprise everyone, but in the end you're still gay."

Smililing I am laughing my butt off. I have spring fever today it is soo freakin nice outside. Blah blah blah Hallett is too small sir it is a technical track if you can master it you will do well at any major venue according to Roushes own Scott Chapman he is their R&D driver and a friend who told me what to put on my car and how to set it up. I love turning and burning if you want to drag race my car feel free to see what it will do I won't ever drag race just not for me maybe my 12yr old but not me.
