How many Machs in the BMMC?
I am guessing I am not the only Mach on here.....
Anyone else?
Gotta update my OK Shakers list and will include you if you want. It is not a real club by any means. More of an "informal" club of Mach owners that kinda keep up with each other and will try to GTG whenever anyone can. No dues, no head of club/mod. This club doesn't exist on paper or on the web, except for my/our forum postings.........

Re: How many Machs in the BMMC?
I believe you are the first Mach!! We opened the club up to all years about july of last year. Before it was all S197s.
So I do believe you are the first Mach and thats something to hang your hat on!! Im sure there will be more....With car shows starting up, drag strip outings, etc they will make their way here instead of us turning them away explaining we are just an S197 club.
The club is now too big not to notice when at events, so if you build it they will come haha We turned away a lot of people over the last few years....now that its an open club...theres no telling how many we will add in the next year.

Re: How many Machs in the BMMC?
For those that care to learn bout these 4valvers
http://www.mach1registry.com/Specs/Specs.htm
All 03/04 Machs are "R" codes in the VIN like the original Machs came with (obviously engine size dependent back then)
03 exterior colors:
Torch Red (D3)
Dark Shadow Grey (CX)
Black (UA)
Oxford White (Z1)
Zinc Yellow (B7)
Azure Blue (L5)
04 exterior colors:
all, except
Zinc Yellow replaced with Screaming Yellow (D6)
and Competition Orange (CY) added
All Machs were optioned with combo of IUP or non IUP, and auto or Tremec 3650
Production numbers (be envious Termi guys ):
2003:
Total: 9652
CX: 1595
D3: 2513
L5: 2250
UA: 1611
Z1: 814
B7: 869
2004:
Total: 7182
D6: 768
CX: 1039
D3: 1259
L5: 1316
UA: 1064
Z1: 697
CY: 1039
Total both years: 16834
Rarest Mach = Z1, auto, non-IUP

Re: How many Machs in the BMMC?
Differences between 03 and 04 model year (that I can remember):
03 heads are flat black, 04 are bare aluminum
03 fender badge = tribar pony, 04 = 40th anny pony
03 has "cargo" net between headliner and visors, 04 no net
03 DS lock keyhole ring = black, 04 lock keyhole ring = bare metal
03 = 4 total cats, 04 = 6 total cats (but 04 is rated more in HP/TQ)

Re: How many Machs in the BMMC?
I like the mach 1's, but don't think the production numbers will be enough to override the excitement of a supercharger

plus the built motor and Viper spec T56 = better. Also IRS = better for street driving. Plus, mod for mod, dollar for dollar, easier to get power since it is FI
My best friend down in Houston has a mildly modded 03 10th anny vert. in the grey color. All I gotta say is that supercharger whine kicks ass (obviously the added power from it too)
The Machs do have many short falls, i.e. Ford cost cutting measures, I'll post up later.
But the Mach does have the shaker, contoured up hood, hood/rocker stripes, and the comfort weave seats. Ooooohhhhhh...... comfort weave. So comfy

Re: How many Machs in the BMMC?
Comfort weave being the center sections between the bolsters. "Same" as the original Machs had. Oh, and the shaker inlet (the actual aluminum cast/wrinkle powdercoated piece) is the exact same as the original Machs.
