What? off and on if thats what your asking. Just working my azzz off spring break this week.2006GT wrote:DBLDARE wrote:Interesting. That would bug me to no end. Can you post up the Part numbers so I can do a little research Tony?
Greg... on you on here? Sup?
I still have the invoice for those pulleys and the part number is 555-3305. If those arnt Steeda pulleys I will never buy another thing from steeda. You buy one thing and get another, I thought they did all their own R&D and built there stuff, just like there fix all tune, probably from someone else AZZZZZZes. Those pulleys are the same weight as the steeda pulleys, they were on my car for 3,500 miles changed them back to factory due to KB SC and never had any problem.

Re: TUNE AND SPRINGS
How do we know they are the same weight. The steeda feels heavier.Thats also what the box says.Hey doc and jarrod did you think they were steeda pulleys.

They were definitely not any steeda pulleys I have seen. Mine look likes Davids, who look like Chris's, Who look like Pauls, etc
Those were defintely not the same Steeda Pulleys we have on our cars. They look like Grenetelli to me. Steedas shipping crew arent the smartest people hehe. Its possible they pacakged the wrong pulleys.
Oh and Steeda customer service sucks...hehe

I mean they are neutral balanced just like the factory balancer and the steeda and anyone else that makes bolt on pulleys for those motors. Ford has always neutral balanced the 4.6 ltr from 1991 when it came out.
As for the pulleys not being steeda pulleys I dont know, I bought those pulleys from them and they came in that box. I will buy them back from you if you want, I am sorry I was misslead and problems it has caused you and i will be calling steeda tomorrow to voice my opinion to them. Like that will do anything, but it will make me feel better.

Re: TUNE AND SPRINGS
Tony I dont see them being a problem... if Greg had them on his car that long....and no problems...I dont see an issue. BUT I would find out what exactly they are....lets do some more research on them and see if we cant dig up some info. Honestly they do look like Grenatelli

Re: TUNE AND SPRINGS
I talked with steeda today. They remember your conversation Tony, they told you to take pics of pulleys and send them the pics. I would like to know if they really are steeda pulleys. You cant go buy looking at other members pulleys. Steeda could of changed the design in 07 they also told me that they do not put there name on them because all of there pulleys are out sourced but built to there specs. The pulleys will work all 4.6 ltr and 5.4 ltr engines are neutral balanced and so are the aftermarket pulleys.

My mustang is an 07....I purchased the steeda pulleys in 07 and mine look exactly like pauls and Davids....just thought I would throw that out there.... I dont think its a design change. But you never know...its possible.
Mine say steeda as do Pauls, davids, and young chris's. Hey Greg...ask them for a full suspension kit due to the screw up..see what they say hehe :) you never know

Re: TUNE AND SPRINGS
TALKED WITH KURTIS,MADE UP MY MIND TO GO WITH JLT AND XCAL2 WITH A DYNO TUNE. PROBABLY WILL HAPPEN WITHIN 2 WEEKS. REALLY NICE GUY THANKS FOR THE HELP. ALSO HE TOLD ME TO GET A PANHARD BAR FOR THE REAR TO CENTER THE CAR AFTER LOWERING.

Re: TUNE AND SPRINGS
Save your money on the jlt and just have it dyno tuned and correct the maf transfer function. Keep the stock air box.

JLT is a good choice..as well as the Dynotune!!
As for the panhard bar its not mandatory....unless your really abusing your car in the corners. When you lower your car it sometimes kicks to one side...most of the time its unnoticable. The adjustable Pan hard bar re-aligns the rear end back underneath. Ive been driving mine lowered for a year...car handles great...rearend still looks perfect...BUT I will be getting a panhard bar in the future..to make things snug again.
Its all choice. Panhard bar can go on later...but if you have the money and want it.. I say go for it!!

Re: TUNE AND SPRINGS
I don't need to take pictures.Steeda's measure 5 1/2'' this one is 5''.If they want to know what they look like go to the granatelli web site, boom there they are.Numbers won't match.I know they look different than the others.Even kurtis looked them up.He agrees.Hey i still need a shifter, maybe steeda would work a deal.NAH
