Exhaust Install- Virgin
Just ordered a borla s-type catback exhaust for my mustang. Build date for my car is 8/15, I know I'm jumping the gun a little but I couldn't help myself!
Here is my question for you guys, how hard would it be for me to install this exhaust myself once my car arrives? Or would I just be better off letting someone else do it. I am somewhat technical-minded but have never installed an exhaust system. On the surface the install doesn't appear too terribly difficult. Any advice is appreciated, thanks!

Should not be too hard. Once you have the car up on jack stands you will see that its just a few bolts and maneuvering the piping. Have a friend help to make quick work of the swap

Easy. Definitely can be done in a driveway or garage with hand tools. If you need a hand I'm always willing to lend a hand as are others on here. Perhaps we can schedule a tech day when she arrives and help you change it out.

Re: Exhaust Install- Virgin
Another tech day would be good. Got some more goodies on the way and need to get some install time. Won't have access to the garage until September, but with my driveway I don't most of us would make it in to the garage. I barely do...

Thanks everyone. Yea I didn't think it would be too bad but wanted to make sure I wasn't overlooking something. I appreciate the offer to help, David.
Would definitely be interested in attending one of the tech days. If not for the exhaust, maybe for some other parts I'd like to install in the future.

Tech days are a great way to have some fun and work on cars, what better way to spend a Saturday?

Hey btw. If you have any future mods. Let me know. Me and my roommate love working on cars as we did all my mods together in my garage.

Yup! Axle backs are cake! If you want them a little more flush with the bumper a little exhaust cutting is called for. Other than that it's a cake walk.

Easy stuff. I usually just throw my stuff on the lift and have it done in 30 minutes and thats with taking a break. Most people don't have a shop with a lift at their house though.
