No not yet Jarrod. The tanks and coil covers are still in a box in my trunk. They should be on this week sometime. I'll post a pic as soon as it's complete.

Melissa has a gorgeous car and is a member on here... Lets keep the comments on how you feel about it to yourself please. Not being a dick, but weve been over this once before.

Re: New Mods Update #2
Both the body kit and the car are nice. I don't have a problem with it. I just thought the "R" was a little out of place. It looks too similar to the GT-R logo. Sorry if I offended you enough to where you have to tell me what I"m aloud to say on this forum.

Lol... Like i said we have gone over this already. I tried being nice, but if you cant take me politely asking you to not flame other Members cars... Well be pissed then. You didnt offend me, just politely asking you to not offend her and keep negative comments towards members cars off here.

No worries Josh
The discussion about the "R" has already been brought up and she has explained it. There were some comments about it when she first joined BMMC a few weeks ago, and we squashed them back then as they were a little inappropriate.
The performance shop that did the work on the car for the previous owner put it on there along with the body kit, wheels, magnuson supercharger, etc. We will be taking it off soon.

Re: New Mods Update #2
If Melissa wants to keep the 'R' then she should do whatever makes her happy. I saw what looked like a 2006 GT mustang with GT500 gas cap emblem and shelby logos along with alcoa supersnake wheels. Also had those cheap looking front fender vent thingy's...I'm not even sure what to call them. Now what that guy did was just wrong. I'm a purist...you can do body kits and stuff, but don't mix and match legendary names....that's just a disgrace. I worked with an engineer that got mad because Carroll Shelby wouldn't sign the dash on his friends Corvette. You see where I"m going with this?? Some things are rediculous.

Re: New Mods Update #2
The way the previous owner described it, it actually was a gt-r. I assumed it was just a limited one-off build. The car flows very well, and i have no dislikes about it. But i agree, body panels can be swapped all day long, but putting snake or gt500 emblems on a gt/v6 is going too far.

Thanks guys! Soon soon hopefully. I think I found a Shelby Carbon Fiber rear diffuser...finally. So I can finish the carbon fiber all the way around. That's a damn expensive piece, but you never see... I'm all about having a distinguished looking Shelby. LOL
How was Bartlesville this weekend?

Re: New Mods Update #2
I really hope so Jarrod. I still need to get FRPP handling pack and black wheels on too. Someone was suppose to get back to me regarding the carbon fiber rear diffuser cover as well. We'll see... lol

Re: New Mods Update #2
Man I'm so frustrated. Seems like everytime I find an exotic part I want for my Shelby it ends up being discontinued. But these businesses sure love taking your money only to return it. So Tru Fiber discontinued the carbon fiber quarter window delete. I've decided to keep the stock wheels on my car for now, but I've ordered the high gloss black with machined lip version from Ford Racing. I think they'll look great...especially once the car is lowered a bit.

Re: New Mods Update #2
Yeah, I'll see you at the cruise on that Thursday evening. I might be able to find the quarter window delete. I'll just have to look all over the place for someone that has a pair. The manufacturer tried to sell me a damaged set for around half the retail costs. Said there was starch spots in the clear finish. He also said it would be easy to fix, but I'm unsure of who could polish it back up for me here locally....and don't really want to buy damaged goods.

Re: New Mods Update #2
So what rubber should i go with this time? I was thinking about trying the Good Years from the KR....softer compound. I'm also considering sending the wheels off to weldcraft and having them widened to 11 or 11.5 inches. If the 305 Mickeys bulge a bit on the 9.5 rim then I'd rather have them extended to a more appropriate size...then I can get 315s :)
