Re: New Mods Update #2
I just put 100% real gas in my Shelby LOL....Sad they have to advertise that they still have Eth. free gasoline on a big marquee.
Please if you guys have a tire setup suggestion for me feel free to provide your input. I'm running the stock wheels 18x9.5 in front and the rears are being extended to 11 inches even. I have a few weeks until I get the wheels back to make a final decision. I've read just by switching from the stock F1's to PS2's I'll improve my 0-60 time by .4 seconds....almost half a sec.

Josh. Most are going your route (I will be soon). Weldcraft...
Still deciding tires. I do know the Nittos run thin. So something to keep that in mind on your p rating if you're thinking about going that way.
I'm thinking about going with NT01 or NT05. http://www.nittotire.com/index.html#index.tire.nt01

I thought the tread looked similar to the NT450 Nitto street tire. I haven't really looked at BFG's yet, but I've read good things about them from GT500 owners.

Re: New Mods Update #2
Jarrod had them on his 06 GT... I think he liked them. They seemed to do well in tests.
And was just looking at the NT01's... they only go up to 18 inch.... NT05 it may be!

The BFG's were ok for a little while, but wore out quicker than expected and traction suffered big time.

So are you recommending the BFG G-Force tire?? What size are those tires? They do make a 335, but I'd be fine w/ a 305 or 315

Re: New Mods Update #2
One of the problems with all of this is that you can only fit so much tire (315) under these cars. What about a widebody kit? I'd like to see more pics of this, but damm... I kinda think it looks pretty bad ass. Looks very aggressive but yet not cheap and riced out. You could get more tire for sure with it.

Re: New Mods Update #2
325 is the biggest tire i have seen fit without any frame or body mods. a wide body like that...i bet you could fit some 385+ under that thing

Re: New Mods Update #2
This one looks custom. It's not just cheesy stick on pieces. It's actually the blended into the body panels. Which makes it look like it came that way from the factory that way. Pretty tastefully done. I'd like to see the rear.

Re: New Mods Update #2
You can do a 345 with right offset. You may have to modify bumpstop bracket and take shock cover off. I may try this but most 345 tires only come as 28 inches tall and the tire height will be my problem with sport line springs.
