Re: Looking for opinions
I wouldn't mind having the Focus ST for a daily! An econo box (allbeit very nice) with almost 250hp... could be fun.

Re: Looking for opinions
The only rice I would drive would be a GTR, S2000, STI or Evo.
However, if it's not Ford, I'm more of a German fan.

Re: Looking for opinions
Paul, you are short enough to fit in an S200... most of us are not.
For the money, I would do STI or EVO also.
So what was this thread about again???

Re: Looking for opinions
Actually S2000's are not that small on the inside. I'm 6'4" and I can fit inside them quite easily. And I think the thread topic was lost as soon as we started talking about the Focus ST lol.

Re: Looking for opinions
Chris.... the S200 is alot smaller than the S2000.
I wasn't a fan (still not) of them either. But drove a friends. They are a very fun car to drive. Handling is friggin impressive.

Re: Looking for opinions
Really Paul? You of all people are going to criticize me for grammar...
I like the car, just was shocked when I sat in one at the auction... But it was a hard top model, which made it even sweeter!

i was wondering where our resident fox humper was at!
personaly i say NO FURTHER MODS. modding a v6 is throwing money to the wind
the scars on my leg finally heal (7/4/10) and you start throwing knives.............ass
Re: Looking for opinions
I would say mod a 4.0 if thats all you had but not a 3.8. That engine is cursed it pops head gaskets all the time and thats with no boost at all. Ford cant build a 3.8 I worked for ford and i cant tell you how many of those engines I have seen with blown head gaskets. Get a GT or do a motor swap

Re: Looking for opinions
Just not using the right headgaskets lol... we shall see how things go when i finally get around to installing my supercharger...

Thought the 3.8l gasket problems were on the earlier pre 99 models. I think the newer SN95s have a different head gasket design. I know the earler 3.8s leaked oil like nobodies business too.

Re: Looking for opinions
yea, that's one of the things they were supposed to have fixed when they introduced the split-port heads in 99...
Re: Looking for opinions
Sorry, had to bring this thread back. Lol. Isaac, go with a GT lol.
And for the sake of arguing about which imports are better/you'd prefer, I'm gonna have to say: MKIV is the route i would take!
OR FD RX-7
That is all. Lol
