need some opinions

a friend is looking at a 99 cobra convertible. has nos,aftermarket wheels, in great shape but i have not seen, and some more upgrade that i cant remember. they are asking $8000. just wondering what you all thought? is it a good price?

The price seems pretty fair for what we know about it. Just depends on the shape , miles etc. The NOS would worry me. Has it been driven hard?

tru dat, i would be a little etchy about buying a car that had nitrous. unless of 2 things, it hasnt been ran through the motor, or only a couple times, but nothing huge, depending on how much nitrous, 50-75 shot should be fine..

My brother had a 99 cobra up until a few weeks ago. He traded it in on a 2005 GT. The cobras are fun even though they arent supercharged like their big brothers the 03 04 Cobra, but still fun. If its in good shape inside and out I think 8k is pretty fair. I would be worried about the motor though...if hes running NOS on the car I would wonder how many runs down the track and how hard has it been driven. With any car...it can look beautiful...but with a shot motor it sits in the driveway.

*** PS if hes asking 8k you could probably get it for cheaper if you haggle

Also how many miles are on the car? My brother with 82k miles just traded his in on an 05 GT and they gave him 7k trade in value for it
