Finally

Well, it finally happened...I got a pic of my car with a real P-51. Have missed a couple of other chances...but not this time. We are at a track event in Iowa, unloading the cars and all I hear is "picture of car with a P-51"...I stopped what I was doing and jumped on that chance.

Thanks to a pilot friend, who also came down for this event. The plane belongs to a pilot buddy of his. Bob was suppose to get a ride in the plane, but his buddy had something come up and couldn't make it. ..but we got the photo op...my dream has come true...and how perfect...the plane's name is Gunfighter...pretty cool considering I am an OSU fan!!

I've seen that plane at the Muskogee Air Show. I have a pic of my son sitting in it when he was about 8yrs old.

The hood scoop and rear wing are almost identical in color...it was amazing to see it up close.

thanks...I got to sit in it also...was quite a thrill at 58 so I can image how much fun it was for your son.
