I founds some PDF in cam install and removal. dude this thing has lots of cautions in it. I just got to find the special tools to compress the springs and the wedge to secure the chain. I just need to find how to install the limitters for the phasers.

here ya go. the ford shop manual online. this link takes you to the head removal. just find the section for the cams alone. oh and i have the valve spring tool and know where you can get the timing chain tool for about half what ford wants for it. oh and it all does add up. i didn't know you got the phase limiters also. if you have any questions feel free to PM me.
it's really a very simple task. if you have 2 guys doing it you could do it w/o the timing chain tool. just have to make sure you don't let the chain fall or slip around.

It really wasn't hard. I think it was because we didn't have the timing chain wedge. I think our timing was off a little bit. The car starts and idles fine but there is no tolerance on the cam install.

Oh hell yah. save me some time and cash. theres a guy at my job has a tool but its for the 2V 4.6. i don't know if its the same. I was actually thinking of making the wedge at work. i have the plastic/silicone/polyester... what ever that material is made of for the wedge and i just secure a rod to it. The Ford tech manual has a picture of it and i have some good pics from other sights i see the installs on. I rather buy the tools or rent them from some one. i got the beer and food if some one lets me borrow the special tools over the weekend.
I just want the pride of doing the work myself.

Re: Rims or cams?
I have issues with my SCT tuner. I try to install the new Firmware and the tuner displays a message saying its the wrong one. Theirs only 2 on the web sight. one for the XP serial # and the other for the X3 serial #. The XP will not install plus I my serial don't start with XP. I email SCT about this problem and I hope to get a response soon. If not, I have to go back to Kirtis to fix my tuner. I bought mines from him and have a tune on file. I can't win.
