Re: Rims or cams?
Cams it is. I just love the sound of them cams. I just can't stop rocking from side to side when i watch the video at a high volume. LOL!! its going top sound really loud and ugly with my exhaust system. I even heard them cams with a supercharger also. The two combos seams to be working good together according to the videos i been seeing. Lets see another video again. HA HA AH !!!

Re: Rims or cams?
Thumprr cams arent going to net you that much power Hector...are you just looking for sound? or power? The comp cams as mentioned above will net you more HP accross the RPM range. If you could settle for a little less lopey cam....you could have both sound and performance.

Re: Rims or cams?
FRPP are the "Hot Rod" cams....they sound great...but for performance I think there are better choices out there. More Lope = Less power. Dont get me wrong..you'll gain some HP. Just saying there are cams out there that have just a touch of lope to them (enough to tell you are cammed) but net you max HP...as they are intended to do.
The FRPP Hot Rod cams and Thumprr cams are mainly sound from what I understand. Correct me if Im wrong anyone who knows different

Re: Rims or cams?
i know the Ford cam is double the price. I like the sound. Well lets see after my second trip to Alabama... yes my second trip. I have to go back in 5 day so i can fight it. The judge was cool but i think the D.A. or who ever she was that was helping him, was really mean.

Re: Rims or cams?
I'm Puerto Rican. i was born with a wrench in my hand. I been wrenching since 16 years old (33 now). Just graduated from Spartan school or Aeronautics, did i mention I was Puerto Rican,i use to rebuild military engine and tranny and stuff like that, I work on trucks all day, build a few 5.0 engines, last one was a self built 331 stroker. oh and I'm Puerto Rican. i should be ok. I'm pretty good with tools. I just can't let that timing chain fall down into the engine.
