Re: Rims or cams?
Well both are excellent choices Hector. Its all about you on this decision. You want a little more power with added sound appeal. OR do you want to complete the exterior look of the car. Your car looks amazing..but the wheels do stick out as "incomplete".
But on the flip side...those cams would give you a HP boost and sound kick ass.
Ugh...decisions...decisions.... Good luck!

Re: Rims or cams?
Man, that's a tough call! Those 20" Mach wheels would look great on your car, but the cams would be a show and go mod! If it were me, I'd probably do the cams. Then you also have to get a good tune for the cams. Dang, that's a tough one!

Re: Rims or cams?
them rims will finish the car off nice. The cams... I'm just afraid that the cops wont like it. Dang she dose sound nice. I can cut the cost of the rims down if i sell my current new tires and 2 of the rims. that way them would both cost about the same.

Comp Thumper Cams with BBK LTs, BBK o/r x, and Borla Stinger Axle backs.
Put down 346RWHP/334RWTQ with the cams, full exhaust, BBK 62mm TB, CMCV plates and JLT CAI...of course a tune also.
GO CAMS!!!!!

I'd do a set of whitewalls and Dayton rims with an hydrolic shock setup. FTW!

Re: Rims or cams?
cams or GTFO. Get Stage II NSR Comp Cams. They are just drop ins. No need for springs or limiters. These cams love to pull to the sky. Plus they sound good. Not really hard hitting cams but you can tell its cammed.

Re: Rims or cams?
i say cams also, but skip the thumpers. i'd rather pay my money towards going faster and still having the obvious cammed sound. spr's stage 2.....they may be a little more work to install, but damn they'll give you more power than thumpers. really you shouldn't be scared of tearing into this motor. read ford shop manual follow the tear down instructions and them replace everything. easy easy.

Re: Rims or cams?
Love the Impala Paul. I would have went with candy apple red.
the thumper and stage 2 cams (nsr) don't need springs. only the thumper needs the limiters. thers only about 5 to 7 HP difference between the two. The (vsr) stage 2 (old stage 3) needs the springs and limiters.
