Did Hurley crash a Ford GT?

I heard last night from some friends that the service guys crashed a gt. Didnt know if it was true or not so i was just wondering..

That is kind of scary since my car was at Joe Cooper most of the day yesterday. Just the thought of someone crashing my car makes me

I think I overheard Bob talking to Paul about that last weekend at the toy drive. Think one of their techs was driving it, gave is a little gas and it got out from under him and ended up hitting a curb. Busted a rim and a few other things. Thats all I remember of the story. Paul might be able to chime in with more details, or one of the hurley techs on here.

Yep indeed. The tech crashed into a curb and lost a couple wheels and some suspension components. I wonder if he got fired?

Yup have to be carefull with cars like this. It didnt help that the Tires were completely BALD. You would think a guy that can afford such an expensive car could afford to put decent tires on it. Heck just a little gas in that thing with the tires as bald as they were was a disaster waiting to happen.

True.... Just hurt the wheel and control arm. It was just an accident.

Things happen but i am sure they are taking care of it. Maybe a new one! Could not imagine!

Honestly its not that bad haha....wont be buying him a new one...no need. A couple of new wheels....new control arms and shes good as new.

But its a $170,000 wrecked car.. I think i would be getting a new one..

now when i worked for the crooks at lynn hickeys when they were still open in BA. one of the mechanics was lifting a suburban on a lift and one of the sides stopped lifting. dammit man the entire truck fell off the lift onto it's side. now that was loud you could hear it from anywhere on the lot almost. now that guy of course got a new truck of his choosing and probably then some. tell you what those guys were definitly crooks though.

I hung out with Lynn Hickeys daughter in Malabu a few years ago. She was absolutely Georgous!! haha

We have friends at Peperdine where she was going to school....she showed us around the town...dinners....bars...clubs...etc. Very cool chick...Dont know about daddy and the dealership though

Ya i bought a truck from hickey also and your right CROOKS glad they are gone.. Im still not so sure on the GT. I dont know why it was there but it was a nice car..

lynn was actually the father and seldom came to BA. doug was the owner in BA and was a fairly cool guy, but was obviously a car salesman. they hired people that fit right in at that place on purpose and if the sales people that didn't fit in they left very quickly.

Yap true on that one. my car kicks out more than it ever before. i ordered new tires (4) and hope they will be in next week. Its scary to drive when the ground is wet or when ever i take a turn and give it some gas. Expect a new burn out video from me just before i put the new tires on. I usually kill the old one just before i put the new ones on. Any one want to be the video man?

the tech likely won't get fired he'll most likely have to pay the insurance deductable for the repairs though.
