been really sick last couple days

I got food poisoning monday morning,
it really sucked, i puked 5 times that day and didnt eat anything. i couldnt hold anything down not even my own saliva.
my whole body hurt like heck and caught a fever.

my blood pressure went down considerably cause everytime i stood up my head would throb. it went down to 75/48, and passed out a few times.

Last thing i ate before getting sick was chicken strips at Braums
I swear im never eating chicken again.

im feeling 80% better, a little weak and i still have very little energy.

uuuhhh im thinking i shouldnt of went to work today :(
these pills are suppose to be helping with the nausea so i dont puke, but i feel so nauseas that i could puke right now,
i dont wanna have to go to emergency care :(

sorry to hear that. so are you the type that will refuse to ever eat at braums again and if so what about their ice cream

actually i dont think i'll ever eat there chicken or any other chicken product.

i cant eat dairy products at the moment.

so far since monday i've thrown up a total of 6 times :( i mean 7 times as of right now

note to self: dont drink gatorade anymore.

I hate to tell you but you don't have food poisoning. It doesn't last as long as you have endured it. You really need to go see a doctor....

more than likely this is the stomach virus that has been going around... all 40 of my patients have gotten it within the past week. lasts about 3-7 days... and be careful, you can get it a second time if you come in contact with someone who has it, even if they aren't showing symptoms. drink lots of fluids if you can keep them down.
I hope you get to feeling better. I got it twice the past 3 weeks. it's no fun, i know.
rest and lots of fluids is your best bet. there isn't much a doctor can do for you.

no, i'm a Nurse Tech. I had to take some time off from school.

Now strep is going around. My daughter was sent home from day care and the doc confirmed it as strep. Not a very good thing to have when your wife is about to have a baby. Im just hoping she doesnt go into labor until after about 2:30pm friday or my daughter cant be at the hospital. Have to be on antibiotics for 24 hours. sucks.
