2010 Mustang

Went to the car show in OKC last night. Not impressed with the new Mustang. Thought the rearend looked horrible.

It always takes a year or so... and maybe a body mod by Roush, Saleen or Shleby before I like a new body style

i remember that it seemed like most people said the same thing about the current model also till it was out for a little while. then most everyone loved it.

I loved the '05 redesign first time I saw it in a car mag in the summer of '04 - ordered my '05 without ever having seen one in person I liked it so much! Can't say the same thing about the '10 model - and that is one ugly rear end. If they ever see fit to cram a 5.0L engine in it, however, I could learn to love that back end.

The rear end is crazy ugly. I can only pray that one of the aftermarket companies comes out sith somthing that makes it look right. Its going to be hard as the deck lid looks like poo as well.

Like others have said...I love the hood and the front end....but the rear looks like they tried to make it look like some euro car

The entire OKC show had the same theme. Boring. I went through all 3 buildings with the family and spent about 35 minutes doing it. The 2010 Mustang was ok but it wont make you run out and buy a new one. Like other Mustang GT's it is a blank slate and you have to go add your own mods to make it look nice.

If you have ever walked through a really busy Hertz car rental thats about the way this was. Hundreds of cars that look the same and parents letting their kids beat the hell of the interiors. :)

Agreed. Not a big fan of the back half of the car right now. I like the hood and grill. Time will tell.

My breakdown breaks down pretty much like everyone else. Like the front, hate the rear 50/50 on the interior. Have to see it in person....

the S197 was a breakout car that was revolutionary for Ford and the Mustang name. to try to top a new platform and new generation car is gonna be next to impossible.

Agree, the only car I spent much time looking at was the CTS-V. Kids were beating the hell out of the Camaro.

jeeez, what the hell is wrong with people. everyone with kids should have to sign a disclaimer noting that they can be asked to leave at any time and have to comply. oh by the way, i dont hate kids... just parents that dont have make them behave.

exactly not the kids fault when parents dont teach them.some ppl should be fixed.

thats why justin didn't go to the show.... you would have been saying... did you see that guy tearing crap up... his wife can't take him anywhere

i LOVE the 2010 mustang but the rear end will be changed i swears it

I kinda like the looks of the new model. The "hips" behind the doors make it look stronger, IMO. The rear of the car isn't the best design, but it has grown on me. I watched a video of one driving around in Japan somewhere and it really looks pretty good out on the streets.

I think its because its different is the reason people dont like it but the truth is look at all the cars these days... the rearends kind of rap around the body bmw,altima,ect. I think it just needs to grow on me.

Thats it...sell your car and get a 370Z...because thats what it looks like

its not that bad!...and the 350-270 looks like total shit

I saw a 2010 in VISTA BLUE,BEST LOOKING REAR END EVER.I'm sure it was due to the color

It has nothing whatsoever to do with color however....

Haven't decided about the 2010 yet, want to wait and see how it handles.
