Was wondering that too. Really anything over 450 at the tires and your living on borrowed time.

I agree. But some will take it to the limits, but i guess thats ok if you have the money to build the motor and the time with out the car.

So you got a hold of some bad gas? That will do it on a boosted car. Have to be careful and make sure you trust the gas you put in the car.
Sucks that you have to rebuild at this point...like others have said that Aluminator motor looks tempting!! Like David said you'd be hard pressed to find a forged motor or build one cheaper.
Might give them a call and speak with the company about the aluminator...ask questions...tell them your ultimate goal (only want to do this once). They should be able to lead you in the right direction.

BTW what shop did you dyno run your car?
