Fund raising idea!?!?

I don't know if this has been talked about before...

13 month BMMC Calendar? It might be a little cheesy, but I'm sure their are plenty of Mustang fans in Tulsa. The pictures need to be like the one with Jerry and Jarrods cars downtown, no bs photos.... make someone go "damn, thats ^*#& Nice!!!"

Its just a thought! If we started selling these... it would give the club more money to help with things like the toy drive, overhaulin', and possibly used to help out other members.... during emergencies.....

Decemeber would be maybe Mustangs & Toys? Promo for the Toy drive.... with friendly reminders! we could also have group "invite" sessions.... car shows.... test and tune info..... anything you would need to get the "general mustang public" to this club.... Make BMMC a nationally known club, not just Tulsa's.....

I like your idea.

I have thought about making a calendar. I made a photo calendar for my mom this year and ordered it through apple. I think it was $25 total after shipping. It turned out awesome. If we get enough pics I will make a calender. We can put it together and take orders, the more we get the cheaper it is to ship. I can also get photo prints through apple as well. With the right quality photo i can get photos all the way up to 20x30.

Along with that idea, we might try printing a bunch up and try to sell them at car shows and such.

I like it.... How would we set it up tho? The way you have it now... you could make mini calendars... kinda like the small ones business put out with the logo and sticky shit on the back....

After pix have been taken, we could make full size ones.... Maybe make a couple and call them Special Series #1, #2 so on.... Then not all the calendars would be alike, but some would.... Kinda like Maxium has a few difference covers on certain issues, but the insides the same.....

We need to check out the manufacturing options, costs, etc..... We got a few cameras.... a lot of mustangs.... and people with majik skills! We can make it happen

doesn't have to be very big.... we can set it up and send it somewhere to be printed and booklet finished.... (office depot can do that) or sylvan printing for that matter... but have it look like a normal spiral calender and add photo's to the back of each sheet as well so looking at the Feb calender page a few posts up.... there would be another page on top of it with photo's...... it seems farely simple set up... just need the pics... and decide what order they will be in.... photoshop all of them in and tell whomever prints it we want front and back and spiral book finished.... depending on size it shouldn't cost that much... especially if we printed in bulk...

I have to agree with you, but at the same time get infuriated that we have to take those kinds of steps. I mean, we do of course own the picture so therefore since it is something that we have created, I don't think there is anything there that Ford can go after. But, I'm not an attorney, some one would have to do some research.

Very funny, Kelley! I'd say that just for that remark there will be no Vista Blue cars in the calendar, but then we'd lose 80% of the members' cars.

If I'm not mistaken, the issue is not with the pictures of the cars but rather the Trademarks and "branding" (copyrights) of the "Blue Oval" logo, the "running pony" logo, the "Mustang" name and perhaps the name of the club too (the Bold Moves marketing campaign is someone's intellectual property). It's just better to check it out first than to get shut down at an event like Mid America for selling "contraban"

Great idea... I believe it was the Black mustang club that had the trademark issues. Not sure how it panned out.

They ran into problems when they tried selling the shirts with ford and mustang emblems on them. They we're trying to sell them for profit too.

Well everybody always wants to pick on the black ones because they are all haters. You know black belongs on the front cover.
