Re: BMMC Annual Toy Drive
Back to the subject at hand. This Christmas may not be all that great of one to celebrate. With the tuff economic conditions, these toys may be the only thing some of these kids get, and this year will probably be more than last year. We have more than enough members to round up a nice little donation, and all of us have friends that we can hit up for $5 or $10. Like I said before, I want to help out both financially and physically. Would love to show up to Bob Hurley with my truck and a few others overflowing with toys.
Remember, these are for kids in our own back yard

Re: BMMC Annual Toy Drive
Exactly! Everyone knows a few people that can donate either a toy or some cash that will buy toys. I've got three businesses working for me to collect donations. I'm sure we can make a big impact. The thing to remember is that people are by nature lazy and they procrastinate. You have to stay after these people until they produce for you.

Re: BMMC Annual Toy Drive
Jerry it's pretty hard to find. I was doing research myself and couldn't find much. Not a whole lot on the web. It is legit as I have personally gone to see the toys delivered. Paul is there a way to embed a object in the thread. I.E. the word document flyer? I guess I could send it out via e-mail.

Re: BMMC Annual Toy Drive
I was just trying to find something to put in the email I am sending to Co-workers and friends. Would give more creditbility to our cause if they could look it up on the web. Also, we need to talk to BHF, they need to put something on their website as well.

Not sure if its a meet up event...I know most of us will be there for the Toy Drop off and hang out at Bob Hurley Ford taking pictures.
Paul and David know a little more about the agenda...I may be wrong

Re: BMMC Annual Toy Drive
Yeah we will most likely meet there to drop the toys at a specific time. We will announce the time. The date is Nov 29th.

Re: BMMC Annual Toy Drive
What date do you think someone will go pick up the toys with the money. Just want to make sure that way I can give everyone a dead line of when the cash is due if they are not donating a gift.

Re: BMMC Annual Toy Drive
Since it's the day before and most peopel have off... I'm thinking we do a Shopping day on Friday (Nov 28th). We could all meet for lunch and then go shopping. Last year we actually had a blast distroying the toy isle at Wal-Mart. Any one remember the silly string incident???

Re: BMMC Annual Toy Drive
Not much of a choice given the deadline for the toy drive. The best thing to do is, buck up and make the most of it.
