Re: BMMC Annual Toy Drive
Ok gang the time has come for us to turn our attention to Christmas and what better way to give somthing than to participate in the BMMC Toy Drive! Once again we will be joining forces with Bob Hurley Ford in collecting toys for underprivledged children in Tulsa. Every year hundreds of children in the Tulsa area go without even a single gift on Christmas. The Reed Park Advisory Council hosts a toy drive every year to help aleviate this problem by giving toys to children who might otherwise go without.
The Club has participated in this event since our inception and would like all our members to get together and help to make this year the best ever!
What we need are unwrapped Toys for boys or Girls ages 12 and under.
We will be kicking off this years toy drive with a cruise to Woolaroc on November 20th (details to come) we encourage everyone participating in the cruise to bring toys or cash donations.
On November 27th the Saturday following thanksgiving we will meet to shop for toys with all money collected from the club. Once again we encourage everyone who can attend to join us. This has proven in years past to be a very fun event.
The date for drop off this year has been moved up a bit so we need to hit this hard. The date for dropping off the toys at Bob Hurley is set for December 6th.
The club will take cash or toy donations. All cash donations will go to buying toys for the drive. Encourage friends, family, co-workers, businesses etc. to donate. If anyone would like to donate cash instead of a toy they can either use our pay-pal account boldmovestulsa@gmail.com or make checks payable to: Bold Moves Mustang Club of Tulsa. Cash donations will also be accepted.
With time drawing close on this we cannot wait to get started. I hope everyone does their best to help out and make a change in the community! If you have any questions send me a PM or you can call me at (918) 830-4990.

The only thing I will mention here is the 27th is Bedlam, you just might consider making the shopping day Sunday instead? I had fun shopping but cant make it if its the 27th.

Re: BMMC Annual Toy Drive
What time is kickoff? We may look at shopping early as we generally do as it only takes a couple hours. It's not an all day affair.

Re: BMMC Annual Toy Drive
I'm sure the game won't be played until the afternoon. It's TBD because it will be televised and they are coordinating the time slot. I'm sure if we start early it won't be an issue. Also like Paul said the kids are the most important thing. The kids are what this event is all about.

Re: BMMC Annual Toy Drive
I dont care about Bedlam, already sold my tickets.... I was just throwing that out there, I know some of you love OU. I know we will most likely lose and I dont care, Im always up for helping the kids out..... Just dont want it to sound like I dont care, cause that wasnt my intention, just letting you know it might conflict with lots of people.

Is it me or does it seem like Chris doesn't care?
Blair... I believe it a $1 per Point. I might do a bonus if you reach a certain dollar amt. I think we did that last year. Jerry and I will talk.

Re: BMMC Annual Toy Drive
Ok... Here's the bonus pts. Remember you get the pt per $1 much plus the bonus. Example: Donate $350 and get 390 pts total. Donate $500 and get 575 pts total. Easy way to win the challenge just do the math. ;)
$100-199 = 10 Bonus Pts
$200-299 = 25 Bonus Pts.
$300-499 = 40 Bonus Pts.
$500 + = 75 Bonus Pts.
$100-199 = 10 Bonus Pts
$200-299 = 25 Bonus Pts.
$300-499 = 40 Bonus Pts.
$500 + = 75 Bonus Pts.
