Is this over the line.
If preparation for our road trip with Mustangs across America in 09 I decided to upgrade my son’s seat. I thought paying $100.00 to get a baby booster seat leathered to match the car was a good call. My wife on the other hand thought it was lame. J

At least now I can leave the seat in the car during car shows. Last year I pulled everything out which included a ice chest, lawn chair, baby seat and all kids of other clutter. Looked like I was setting up a garage sell.

Same here.. I just rode on the console, or wherever. I even ate a dash once in an oldsmobile.. I was too young to remember what it tasted like though.. lol..

Re: Is this over the line.
We just know that the era that we grew up in didn't have much use for car seats. Mom just sat in back and held the kiddos then. Oh and we drank from the water hose too. No bottled water. Oh and we got our butts busted if we did somthing wrong. Oh and the tv had 3 channels you had to get up to change then you fiddled with the rabbit ears to make the blcak and white look better. LOL

hahahaha hey do you guys remember when you first got cable tv. i do. we had a cable box to change the channel. it had a bunch of buttons that went across and a thing that slid up and down to get more channels on the left side. it also wasn't wireless.......nice big fat wire going to the tv. i also remember having a rotary telephone (click click click click)

Re: Is this over the line.
My dad had to beg his Mom to get a microwave and now I am begging my mom to get a Tivo. Who watches live TV anymore its barbaric I tell you.
I miss the days of leaving the front door unlocked and still being safe or knowing to come home when the street lights come on, Or who doesnt miss going into that secret closet at school where Mrs Hooper would play hide and find it till the other kids came back from Recess. Well back to work...

My son is about to turn 7 and he still rides in a booster. Its a state law till they are a certain weight and hight they have to be in a car seat or a booster. I was probably 4 going on 5 when I ate the dash and i remember bits and pieces of different cars we owned but I dont ever remember them having seat belts in them..
