I have isolated the loud high pitched squeaking noise to my upper idler pulley. I went to Firestone and they said with all the stress my engine causes, it probably just wore out the bearings.

So, was going to get another one, but I wonder if someone makes a more robust pulley compared to stock?

Not sure what idler you currently have, but this one looks decent

There are cheaper options available though

Could look at upgrading the tensioner as well as the idler. Thumprr makes some very good stuff!

I like the Metco and it reduces belt slip. I do not have one but so far no belt slip.

Hmm, yeah that adjustable one looks good! I'll have to wait until I have some money though.
