Brakes and pads....
Ok so I had justin put my brakes and pads on. Now when I drive it makes this horrible loud noise that makes me want to crash my car into a ditch! It sounds like its the back tires. I told my dad about it but he rolled his eyes which means he doesnt want to deal with it and wont ever get to it. Has anyone ever had this problem or might know what it would be? Please Help me!!!

Re: Brakes and pads....
Never had the problem... It could be anythng... The pads weren't seated in correctly, the rotors need to be turned, etc..
What's the noise, grinding, clicking? Is the car pulling to one side or the other? How's the overall braking performance? Has it changed?

Well there brand new...why would they need to be turned? or are you supposed to? Its a grinding noise and it will stop when i brake. The brakes seem to be working great! My car doesnt shake anymore at all

Re: Brakes and pads....
In that case and assuming they were installed coorectly, They might just need to be seated in. If so just google how to doseat in brakes.

Re: Brakes and pads....
Did you break the Pads in PER the instructions? You need to do a series of stopping 10 stops from 35 to 0 MPH with moderate to hard pressure on the break pedal. Then 4-5 stops from 40-45-to 0MPH with hard break pressure.
This insures they are seated.
