Got to view a few of the pics. I'm amazed anybody lives out there. Sort of reminds me of Taos/Questa/RedRiver area. I like the B&Wpics!!! Where did they get the water from? Whats the story?
There are just a few ... And few meaning 3... living out there anymore and that's a stretch. They are ghost towns in every sense of the word. Nobody is out there anymore. They all moved on. I'm guessing they get their water from wells.
Thanks is regards to the B&W photos. Always loved them shooting B&W and this was a great opportunity to do so. It fit.

Bob... Let's buy $100 worth of space. Ok? I'll run a check over this week.
Thanks for the props on the pics. I love photography and this was a great shoot. I have many more and will be hanging some.

Diving was pretty cool... or should I say COLD! I was getting a reading of 61 degrees on my computer which was par. It's a pretty unique site. 60ft across at the top and tapers out to 120ft at the bottom which is 85ft deep. VERY clear water. Vis was about 80+ft. It's spring feed and flows at 3000 gallons a min. It flows from the bottom and over flows in to a stream at the top.

Aren't those cars in the field right off I-40 so you can see them from the highway? I recall seeing them everytime I passed by there!!

Re: GENERAL CHAT
Yep. Just west of Amarillo. They encourage you to paint them. It was a rancher/artist (odd mix) that started it back in the 70's. If you recall Bruce Springten wrote a song about it. England has Stonehenge and we have the Cadillac Ranch. Does it get more American than that??
More pics are uploaded.... Spnsored by CHRIS!

Stanley Marsh 3 erected the Cadillac Ranch in 1974 - I was living in Lubbock at the time; remember it well! He was, and still is, a real Texas goofball. But, he happened to own the land where the largest helium deposit in North America was discovered - so, he's a multi-millionaire goofball. Read about him and his ranch here.
