Re: GENERAL CHAT
i've quit twice.... and getting geared up for the third time.... chantex worked real well when I quit the second time... but family health issues had me stressed out for the last year so I'm back to a pack a day.... I need to get another prescription from the doc... that stuff really did help

Seriously???? You smoked?
Yep. Cigs since I was 14ish... (just one pack or less a day) then 2 years ago I thought I'd just switch to cigars and smoke when I wanted to.... didn't happen one in the evening turned in to two... then that turned into one with my coffee in the morning and so on... With tobacco it's all or nothing. I even use to race bicycles (roadie) and be competitive. I'd race century races (100miles) and always finish in the top 10. I use to finish and light up a cig. People and other riders would freak.
My problem is that I love smoking... It stinks, it's expensive, it's nasty, etc, etc... but I liked it. Kinda like Jarrod... He smells, he looks goofy, he's socialabley unacceptable, you don't wanna be seen with him, etc... But I like the little bastard.

That's what I used this time. The only thing that actually worked. I tried to quit many times....
I read a bunch of horror stories about the side effects, but only had one. Bat Shit F%$#ng crazy dreams. They were more fun than anything. Adventurous if you will...
They say stay on it for 4 months but I stopped after the 1 first set. Didn't need it. I do miss the dreams... Most of them belong in the saloon.. Giggity.

Re: GENERAL CHAT
Wow, I do recall seeing you with a cigar but had forgotten.
I quit May 23,1999. Cold turkey!!!!! I had smoked for 24 years and had my first cigarette in 3rd grade and smoked regular, starting in the 5th grade. Now I can't breath when I get near a cigarette. Oh and I gained 30+ lbs within 2 years. I could smell food again~!!!! Watch that calorie count!!!!

Re: GENERAL CHAT
well, #1 broken arrow, LOST last night, to muskogee by 1 freaking point!!!! i dont think broken arrow has ever played as bad as they did. we had two other chances to score, but we kept getting pushed back from penalties, AND muskogee blocked our 1 point FG. i dont know what it is, but broken arrow always seems to lose against muskogee.
i saw somebody there, didnt know their name, they were sitting 2 rows in front of me, i saw they were wearing a BMMC pullover..???
