BMMC Impromptu Photo Shoot
Got a call from a few BMMC members that asked me to take some pictures. Im always up for taking pictures for those that dont know me. :) Didnt really set out having a location, just made best with where we were at and made it work for us. Lighting wasnt the best, but I think the pictures turnout out ok. The pictures files are HUGE so I had to resize for the forum...if anyone wants a specific picture they see posted, just let me know and I can send the large file of the pic. With the large file you can zoom into any of the pics to enlarge them to capture your car and edit/cut the surroundings.

They look even better blown up....some of them that looked awesome on my full size screen kind of just look "ok" once resized down. But they pop full size!

They only really pixelate when you take a smaller sized photo and try and make it bigger. When downsized you just dont see the detail due to your eyes looking at a smaller photo....when bigger you get to see the reflections, the shadows, the lines, the detail. Makes the picture poster quality.

Re: BMMC Impromptu Photo Shoot
Jarrod, what kind of camera are you using? It takes such clear pictures and you have some great angles!
Jerry's termi has my heart! Wish I had known about this! You guys were fairly close to my house when you were on main street. I live at 91st and elm. Maybe next time :)
I agree, downtown Tulsa in the evening is a great place for a shoot. Now that the days are going to be longer and the nice weather will be rollin around shortly, it would be perfect! Also. We need to get some rolling shots and some HDR shots like dees: (kinda grainy, fail on flickr's part)
First rolling shot we ever took. So, they've greatly improved. But I know of some good spots if and when that time rolls around.

Re: BMMC Impromptu Photo Shoot
Thanks Rachel. I used a Nikon D40 to take these....does a great job. I occasionally will use a Nikon D80, has more adjustments and allows me to dial in a shot much better than the 40. The D80 belongs to my brother, so I stick to the 40 mostly.
There are much better cameras out there, but they are priced way over what I am willing to pay for a marginally better quality shot.

Glad to see someone else who knows how to use a camera :)
