15% Ethanol..Govt Approved

"Governement yesterday (Jan 21st) approved moving from 10% to 15% blend,despite auto industry and others conecrn on effect it will have on our cars.Its not approved for older cars yet,so there will be some retailers who will still have the 10% blend--so watch out at the pumps --however, there studying impact itll have on older cars and if they say its a go, then all well have is 15% gas "

There was a great site posted that lists all of the gas stations by state that carry pure 100% gas. Thought it was pretty cool

Ugh. When will the insanity end?

I am starting to see more and more 100% gas stations around. There's 3 within my area in BA.

Thank God....wonder if they will start switching. I hope not....?

The shell in between ferguson gmc and ferguson imports on elm has 89 and 91 pure gas....

God this ethanol scam makes me crazy! A stupid POS idea proves to be a disaster and what do they do? Ramp it up. Drive up the price of food and ensure that cars get worse gas milage, not to mention ruining my neighbors lawn mower.

OK, now that I am off my soapbox, thanks for the link. There are a few there that I did not know about. One that is not on the list is at 51st and Harvard, an unbranded, just across Harvard from Steinmart.

i was just reading that on the teamshelby site. well wal mart of all places here on the south side of okc has 100% gas and about the same if not cheaper than the 10% crap.

maybe i need to get swapped to e85? isnt there a guy up in tulsa with an 04 cobra runnin 600+hp on e85?

Like David said...Chris has the Sonic Blue cobra that hes converted to E85. Hes running a KB I believe

i wonder if the cost to output/wear ratio would be worth it. my luck and how much i drive her id be in some podunk town and no e85 around

quick re-tune and your back running on premium fuel. all you need to do is remember to keep your hand held tuner with you, when i build a motor for my car im probably going to run E85 in it for racing and premium for regular days. just make sure you run the tank almost completely empty before switching over and when you switch fill the tank COMPLETELY.
