2012 GT500 Rumors

I know because my car is the second one i know off with these exact mods and we are right together in hp/tor numbers. I also did full suspension. it drives like a totally diff machine.

That's pretty much right in line with my mod plans. Good to know what I can expect.

Hey Josh, great to have you sir. Yes this is what I have heard as well. Also the order info is out already which supports your findings. BUT there are little birdies here and there that keep popping up on other forums that keep me interested. The TVS has been thrown out there for months. I would assume that the 2012 will not be equipped with it, but you never know :)

They may be testing for the 2014 model.

I read an article somewhere on the internet. May have been the Mustangsource.com. Sterling Gray allegedly won't be offered in the 2012 line-up...I sure love that color on the 2011 Supersnake. All other current color combos will remain. I'm guessing they are offering the Recaro seats because the new Boss will have them. Also the Glass roof option will still be an option along with the SVT performance package. Standard price for the coupe is now just above $49K. Honestly, I don't see Ford making the GT500 past 2013. We have the 50th anniversary mustang coming out as a 2014 model in 2013 and William Mays has stated Ford is hard at work on a new design to celebrate. I've heard rumors that there will be an SVT Cobra. Carroll has stated himself that he wants to focus on selling performance parts and slow down production of new vehicles all together. Only time will tell!! I'm really looking forward to the 50th anniversary mustang. You?? Someone should start a thread for it...

It will be interesting to see what they roll out for the 50 year. I hope it's really special.
