Anyone out there have a recommendation for a good body shop? I'm a picky SOB.

BTW... American Autosports will be doing the stripes. ;)

I have seen some really great work by Karroll Martin, and some really crappy work. Haven't heard any complaints from Accurate. I have also heard good things about Hourglass, but have no experience.

Jimmy. I would use that guy. I've seen his work (Casi's hood0 and it's perfect... However he's really backlogged right now and not taking anymore clients. If you have a part, he will shoot it for you, but not a full project. The guy is pretty popular. I still you should check him out. I was very impressed with Casi's hood.

Mikey, thanks for the info. I'll call them and check em out.

I know, Ive heard good things about him and may use him soon. BUUUTTTT since I had to endure "razor-blade" comments for 6 months i figured id repay the favor!!!!! hahaha

Anyway mine is so bad now i need the whole front end done (rock chips) but i think i may just have the whole car done. I figure if I'm doing 1/3 of it or better then i may as well do it all!

I feel ya, Jimmy, I have the road rash on my car too, from following someone too close and various other road debris. I couldn't help it, I was mesmerized by the shiny blue butt . . . .

Actually, you asked for a paint guy, paul asked for a body shop. Two different things.

I am actually serious about this. There are guys out there that can paint well, but can not do prep or body work. There are also guys out there that can prep and do body work, but can't paint. You have to find a place that has the right guy at each spot and hope they are having a good day when they work on your car.

Jerry is right though, painting a part is different than painting a whole car. It's the difference between painting a rhino or just its toenails. And no amount of paint will fix a bad pedicure.

Someone needs to go down and give Chris's a butt slap or a head rub . . . .

Go ahead and praise me - I did indeed comment on your post!

And I agree with Jerry - just because a guy can paint a bumper doesn't mean he can take a dent out of a fender.
