we want to go sunday. what time will we leave to go up river? some folks may drive up that morning. some will stay fri and sat night so we need camping info etc and directions to the place as well

i count 16 people going as of right now, anyone else needs to sound off and let us know when you are coming and if you want a kayak, canoe or raft

Ok pricing for Eagle Bluff is $18.50 per person for canoe or $22.50 for raft. Children under 12 half price. There is a minimum user fee that applies on the weekend which is two persons in a canoe and 6 in a raft. If we have a group of at least 16 people we can get a 10% discount. I like the camping facilities there at Eagle Bluff. Its a nice place with decent restrooms and showers. If this is what we want then the club will do a deposit to reserve our group. I will need to know for sure who plans on attending. If I reserve you and you dont show you will still have to pay for being a butt hole.

I will be tenting it with my group and anyone who wishes to do a tent I can reserve a good shady spot. We can do 2 vehicles and 2 tents in one camp space or we can get individual camp sites if you prefer. Camping is $13 per car per night. very reasonable.

Don't forget your fishing license and poles. believe it or not you can catch fish on the upper illinois.

What time and day are you all planing on heading to the river? I may go I would have 4 including me.

I will most likely go down Sat morning the 26th and we are planning to float on the 27th Sun. I will stay overnight. Might go on Fri the 25th but not sure yet.

lets reserve it, everyone check their schedules and verify that they can go, i listed who had said they were going earlier in this thread, if you dont see your name or you cant go now let us know asap!!!!

All- We will not only need a count of people, but what you need as far as canoe, raft and how many. I don't want to assume here.

Those going up there on Sunday (me included)... I'd like to meet and leave around 8am. We can meet at my house if you'd like. I'm right by the hwy.

if it is a min of 6 in a raft, can you get 3-4 in a canoe?

3 max in Canoe. Not sure on the raft.

who's camping and who's in a motel.I can do either.I have 2 tent cots and a aarp card.

I can't go to this event. The transmission in my 79 trans am went out so all my money will be directed towards that.... I might head that way and meet some of you guys but I won't have money to float... damn transmission!

Sleeps 6. I have two though so you will be in luck. You have to transport it though as Im not sure I can fir two into my can with all the other stuff i plan to bring. We'll figure somthing out.
