Re: Float trip
Thought about the stang. But some of those parking lots are pretty shitty. And mines not exactly sitting high. Plus it's just easier to load everything in the Edge.

Nice. Well I will have my stang... since it the only vehicle I have besides my wife's 08 Eclipse GT. Maybe you guys can finally check out mine in person. I would like to see all of yours but if not I will see them another time.

Re: Float trip
I'll be tenting it. I'm not afraid of the heat and spiders. Besides you can get alot more rowdy outdoors.

Re: Float trip
Hey guys, the cost is 20 per person for rafts. They have a 6 mile and 12 mile float. I think she said its six people per raft. She is going to talk to her dad and see if she can cut us a deal. Maybe 10 bucks a person. I am awaiting her call. I have to go to work so I won't be able to update this til after 6 or so. They also have kayaks and canoes. Anybody going to be using those?

Re: Float trip
Canoe for me. I prefer the 12 mile and I will most likely go down late Fri or early Sat and stay at least one night. We should at the very least get a group rate. If no deal then I know for sure we can get a deal over at Eagle Bluff.

Re: Float trip
6 or 12 mile. IMO the 6 mile over too quick in a canoe. I also enjoy doing the overnight 30 mile available at eagle bluff. They drop you off basically at the Arkansas border and you canoe back. Stopping halfway and camping on the side of the river.

Re: Float trip
He called me back and said that he only does church groups now. I told him we are a church group with a lot of mustangs. He still said no... I think we should either go arrowhead, falcon floats, or eagle bluff. They are all pretty good. Arrowhead is my favorite though. Im up for a 12 mile raft trip. Rafts are fun because they go slow without paddling and you can drink much easier in it than in a canoe.

Re: Float trip
I don't need a raft to drink... trust me... ;)
Eagle Bluff? I like Canoes because they are more of a challenge. That's just me. Plus my great , great grandfather Lewis used one with his buddy Clark to explore America.
