ok people i don't think any one here is running these but its a point that should be brought up. apparently theres been a hash of engine failures lately related to reground cams, i don't know exactly whats up. it could just be some misbuilt engines but i felt it was something that should be brought up.

http://www.teamshelby.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=50235&st=0

http://www.modularfords.com/forums/showthread.php?t=146745

these are just two examples i have on hand at the moment. comp cams from what i have read is looking into the issue. im not sure if theirs are regrinds or not but theyr investigating the shelby gt's failure as far as i know.

if your looking at doing cams i would spend the extra money on the billit and stay away from regrinds until this is resolved and the culprit discoverd.

if nothing else you will have a stouter valve train.

i'll try and keep this thread updated as time goes on. im also going to contact comp cams next week about the matter and i'll update you guys about this. just to restate this could turn out to be nothing. time will tell though

Should get an answer quickly
