Can you put these on as is with out any other modification? Do they require some sort relocation bracket? How would it affect the drive either good or bad?

Direct bolt-in. You can use these without relo brackets. I basically run this same setup. However the relo brackets are a good upgrade especially if you are lowered.
As far as the drive... it will tighten up the rearend and give you a more positive feel especially in cornering and launches. Helps a bunch with wheelhop at the strip...
The stock setup is pretty flimsy. It you upped your power or suspension, these are at the top of the list in reguards to upgrading your rear suspension. I think 95% of us have upgraded our LCA.
