Re: newb checking in
Welcome.
I Have seen the mustang you are refering to. He is not on here (that I know of) but it is a sweet ride. I dont think it is a p-51, but it is definitely not stock.
Post some pics when you get a chance, we love pics and again welcome

Welcome to the club, no it's not a p51. I seen it on Memorial driving by the other day, looked like a regular gt that maybe had some stuff done at carfx. Sounded real good and saw the 520rwhp plate.

Re: newb checking in
I clicked on a link somewhere and it led me here. I had no idea this place existed. Its nice to see a local car club with a strong showing.
Hmm, its very possible we got into a race. It seems to happen everytime I take the car out so I can't remember one from another. There's a silver Z thats alot slower running around on bigs and littles. Mine is pewter, its like a silver with a little bit of gold.
David 12.39 is pretty quick for those mods you have? No headers?!?

Nice car man I've seen you out at TRP many times, I've always wanted to line em up but I never was able to sneak up by ya in line.
Engine wise i put in some forged pistons and rods. Trick flow heads, FAST intake, cam & typical valvetrain mods. It does have some good ole ford engineering in the back with the moser 9 inch. The tranny is a th350 with a transmission brake. Its got a decent suspension for drag racing. About everything but a tubular front k member and a arms. Its got a 6 point with removable swing outs. And i've got a nitrous kit on it. I'm just finished putting on the progressive controller and I'm awaiting some parts in the mail to finish installing the stand alone.
On radials it ran 10.6's the first trip out on a 150 shot. I'm planning on gradualy stepping up to a 250 shot this summer and getting a full set of hoosiers for it.

I was just being a smart ass. I think we get immune to how fast a 12.3 quarter mile is anymore. Plus I was the guy racing next to him and ran a 12.38 to his 12.39. I just think his car is prety damn impressive for what it is.
Never been a huge fan of the camaros, but always seemed to like the Ram Air T/A's. Same car pretty much, just liked the look a little better. Your is nice though, very nicely done. I won't be lining up next to you anytime soon.
