Re: Davids New Look suggestions
David, do you still have the pony emblem that was on your old grille? Is so, would you be willing to sell the emblem?

Re: Davids New Look suggestions
I have the emblem but it is on my car now. (sorry) If you can part with the solenoids now I would be in your debt. That would be awesome. I was hoping I could do somthing before the show. Let me know.

You got it. We have done enough business before that I trust you. They are at Kurtis's right now. Can you meet me there Monday afternoon? I have the new kit on and have to wire the switch so I will be there Monday afternoon. You can pay me after the Shelby Meet

Sod off? Sod Off? You can sod a lawn, but telling someone to "Sod Off"! What is that? I mean really?

Ahhhhh. But it's also grass. But I guess it's like self tapping (pronounce like scotch "tape") screws.

Which emblem was it? Do you remember? Also, can you meet me at Kurtis's on Monday?

Re: Davids New Look suggestions
Let me see if I can find the order for it. And I think I can get out to Kurtis shop but I will call you Mon.
Ok the item number is C5ZZ16229BR 02 It was a Left hand fender emblem for a 65-68 mustang. I Broke off the two small tabs on the back and used JB weld to secure a bolt to the back long enough to protrude thru the grill and then secured it with some large washers and a nut on the back. I also used some sticky back black weatherstrip between the emblem and the grill to give it some "bite" and a bit of cushion. Be careful not to overtighten. Hope that helps. Can't beat it for under 20 bucks.

Re: Davids New Look suggestions
Jeff did you drop the fog light look and go with a fogless grill like Davids? Or are you incorporating a pony emblem in the grill that has the fogs?

Re: Davids New Look suggestions
I decided to incorporate something in to the front of the grille. I am tired of the old, stock grille setup that I have. Just needed a change. Thought emblems would be the way to go. I have decided not to use a pony emblem though. I am using an old emblem from 1967 that came off one of my mom's old mustang.

Float trip?! Haha I went on one yesterday. Those are some fun times, just bring about 15-20 beers per person to be safe.
