I like that front end. I also like the 2" cowl hood from Steeda.

Re: Davids New Look suggestions
Too pricey for that one. The CS bumper is cheaper. Paying for the Saleen name I suppose. By the time you have the paint done it would be like 800 bucks in the damn thing. Too much.

Re: Davids New Look suggestions
if your doing a cowl hood you better damn do the 3 inch looks good...actually i think cervini offers a 4 inch hood now. talk about a boner starter just think about the kind of super charger you could fit in that kind of clearance!

Re: Davids New Look suggestions
I recommend this look....
Oops! We're talking about front clips....
The Saleen Heritage clip is just left over parts from the PJ, so I'd be partial to that one.
If I'm remembering correctly, it seems like Saleen was used to help put together another Grabber Orange car with a very similar front clip look....
Hmmmmm.....
Which one is it?
It's coming to me.....
Ahhhhh..... The GT-R. A slice of Mustang Nirvana. Do a Heritage clip and open up the grill section with a GT-R treatment. Perfect!

Re: Davids New Look suggestions
The GTR looks good as long as it starts as a GT....but to destroy a GT500 is insane!
Thats like taking a Parnelli Jones....and making it look like a GT500...what was the point? and you just destroyed something beautiful!
But yes I love the GTR! The spoiler could be smaller though

Re: Davids New Look suggestions
Agreed, the spoiler on the GT-R is at least a credible piece as that is a track machine. The one on that modded Shelby is just obnoxious.
2 fast 2 furious IMO

You're right about the internal 'rake' to the headlights being that of the GT500. I think the biggest difference is the Shelby puts fog lamps where the GT-R and Saleen PJ / Heritage use that hole for a functional inlet for brake cooling.

Re: Davids New Look suggestions
Dave - what's the site you bought your stripes from? We talked about it, and you said you'd put it up here, so I could do some stripe-shopping.
By the way, the color that I was talking about, the '07+ color, is called Alloy. I need to see if I can find a site that allows you to play around with body mods (kits/stripes/etc.) If you know of such a site that uses photo-shop to display what it'd look like, that'd be awesome too!
Thanks!
